Corruption lies everywhere in the world. Just the form and the degree vary. It relatively changes as the time progresses.
Corruption begins when desire overtakes deserving. It is always there from ancient times and will always be there at all places.
Corruption is the illegal use of authority, official power for private gain. It includes bribery, fraud, use of public resources, stealing of official and public resources, partiality/favouritism.
Most of the people are unaware of what effect their actions will have on others. They need money and power, as they think that money is everything.
Corruption is not confined to any particular section of the society, but it is presented in all the parts of the society. Not only rich people but poor people also involves in this type of activities, either willingly due to greed or due to so called compulsion.
Now the question arises here is that- “Is it possible to make a nation with zero corruption”??
Well, there are many answers for this question but the thing is- are we really implementing to those solutions which helps to eradicate corruption?? Answer would be probably no, because we all are corrupted. We have many anti- corruption bureaus, governments and private organizations, to remove corruption from the nation. But the thing is still the corruption rate in India is very high, the reason for this is just because the person involves in this kind of anti-corruption bureaus are themselves corrupted, Higher authorities of our nation are corrupted, every section of the society is corrupted, we all are corrupted.
Taking bribe is not only corruption but giving bribe and supporting corruption and corrupted people in any manner comes under corruption.
At the present condition, the nation with zero corruption is like a dream but it can be a reality if we think so, if we want so and if we work accordingly.
We can only eradicate corruption from our nation, by first making our self corruption free.
If you wish to make your nation corruption free then first implement it in yourself.
Because “if not you then who, if not now then when”, this is the time when you can take a pledge- ‘neither to take bribe, nor to give bribe’.
Gandhi ji once said, ‘be the change, you want to see in the world’, If you want to see your nation corruption free then first make yourself corruption free. Don’t support any means of corruption. Only then, this dream of today will be a reality of tomorrow.
Stop corruption... and save India!!!
